Clement Faith Communities

Various days and times
Small faith sharing groups meet every other week, or twice a month, reflecting on the Sunday scriptures and their impact on our lives as Catholic Christians. Spend time enriching your faith journey and strengthening your relationship with God. Click here for more information.

Men's Morning Prayer

Tuesdays, 6:30am, in the Chapel
About 15 men of our parish meet in the Chapel for prayer at 6:30am Tuesday mornings. We use a simple format: song, praying a Psalm, listening to the gospel for the upcoming Sunday, a reflection, intercessions and Holy Communion. The prayer takes about 25 minutes, then it’s off to work. All men of the parish are invited to attend when their schedule permits. Please enter the chapel from the Orchard Street door. For those providing a reflection, you may get a copy of the Gospel reading for the Sunday you are reflecting upon by visiting www.usccb.org and clicking on the tab at the top of the page for “Readings.” Please contact Fr. Ramil Fajardo with any questions at frramil@stclementchurch.org or 773.281-0371 x23.

Focus on Sunday Scripture

Tuesdays, 9:30am, in the Fahey Center
Focus on Sunday Scripture meets every Tuesday at 9:30am in the Fahey Parish Center. Join us for an hour of prayerful reflection on the readings for the following Sunday. Come when you can; you need not make a weekly commitment. Please contact Edda Hackl with any questions at eddahackl@aol.com.

Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel

Thursdays, 2:00pm until 6:30pm
During the summer, Eucharistic Adoration is held in the Chapel on Thursdays from 2:00pm to 6:30pm with Holy Rosary at 6:00pm. Starting September 10, Eucharistic Adoration will be held from 1:00pm to 6:30pm with Holy Rosary at 6:00pm and Benediction at 6:30pm. Please enter through the parish rectory doors. A Mother's Rosary

Thursdays, 8:15am to 8:45am, in the Chapel
Do you wish you had more time for prayerful meditation away from your children and daily distractions, in a friendly and low-key environment with other Saint Clement mothers? Join us for "A Mother's Rosary" in the Chapel on Thursdays from 8:15am-8:45am.

Centering Prayer Group

Saturdays, 9:15am, in the Chapel
The Centering Prayer Group meets every Saturday morning at 9:15am in the Chapel to explore prayer and prayer styles through profound silence and contemplation. All are welcome.

Why Pray?
We pray to see life as it is, to understand it, and to make it better than it was. We pray so that reality can break into our souls and give us back our life. We pray to understand things as they are, not to ignore and avoid and deny them.
~ Joan Chittister, Wisdom Distilled from the Daily
