O Lord, Jesus Christ, King of Glory, free the souls of the dead

from the jaws of the lion, lest Tartarus devour them.

O Lord, Jesus Christ, King of Glory, free the souls of the dead
lest they fall into darkness.

Sacrifices and prayers of praise to you, O Lord, we offer;
receive them on behalf of those souls
for whom we make this memorial today.

Make them, O Lord, to pass from death into life
which once you promised Abraham and his descendants.

O Lord, Jesus Christ, King of Glory, free the souls of the dead
