May the God of infinite goodness,
who by the Incarnation of his Son has driven darkness from the world
and by that glorious Birth has illumined this most holy night,
drive far from you the darkness of vice
and illumine your hearts with the light of virtue.

May God, who willed that the great joy
of his Son’s saving Birth
be announced to shepherds by the Angel,
fill your minds with the gladness he gives
and make you heralds of his Gospel.

And may God, who by the Incarnation
brought together the earthly and heavenly realm,
fill you with the gift of his peace and favor
and make you sharers with the Church in heaven.

(Solemn Blessing for the Nativity of the Lord
from The Roman Missal 2011)

Dear friend,
May the celebration of Christmas open your heart and soul.
May the miracle of the Incarnation fill you with hope.
May the mystery of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection
deepen your faith.
May the presence of God made flesh draw us closer to one another in love.
May the wonder of the season bring you the blessings of
light and gladness and peace.

Thank you for the continuous blessings that we share as the parish of Saint Clement. May we continue to strive for deeper holiness, greater communion, and wider service.

Christmas Blessings,

Fr. Ken Simpson
Pastor
