Fr. Simpson is the spiritual leader of Saint Clement Church with overall responsibility for the parish vision. His main duties are celebrating the sacraments, preaching the gospel, and the spiritual care of parishioners. He is also responsible for the overall support and supervision of the staff and maintenance of the physical plant of the parish.

Fr. Fajardo is responsible for celebrating the sacraments, sacramental preparation, pastoral visits and appointments, spiritual direction, and annulments.

COMMUNITY AND FORMATION

Christina Bax, Pastoral Associate and Director of Evangelization

Christina coordinates church initiation programs (RCIA and adult confirmation). She oversees baptisms and teaches baptism preparation classes for parents. She is also the staff liaison for Young Adult Community. 


Maggie Byrnes, Ministries Assistant

Maggie assists the Director of Community Involvement and other ministers with the coordination of volunteers, service opportunities, hospitality functions and events. She coordinates the Faith Sharing Ministry and Sack Lunch Program. She also handles baptism inquiry and scheduling of services. 


Mary Cele Doyle, Director of Community Involvement

Mary Cele develops, directs, coordinates and evaluates volunteer opportunities. She serves with the Parish Life Commission, Human Concerns Commission and the Stewardship Committee to promote active participation among parishioners, and to encourage responsible involvement through outreach programs.


Gabriel Giella, Children's and Family Catechesis Assistant

Gabriel assists the Associate Director in the Children's and Family Catechesis department. Oversees Children's Liturgy of the Word, Family Mass, Youth Group.


Aileen Scommegna, Associate Director of Children's and Family Catechesis

Aileen works with the school faculty, religious education catechists, students and families, helping students and their families grow in faith.

MUSIC AND LITURGY

Kate Bradfield, Assistant in Music Ministry

Kate trains and conducts the Chapel Choir, Jubilate children’s choir, and instrumentalists, and selects all music used for the Sunday 9:30am Chapel liturgy.


Flo Merkl-Deutsch, Liturgy Coordinator

Flo invites, trains, and offers formation to all who are involved in liturgical ministry. She facilitates the art and environment ministry as well as overseeing the church and chapel spaces. Flo works to help parishioners appreciate and participate fully in the sacred liturgy.


Dr. Randall Swanson, Director of Music

Dr. Swanson is the principal organist and conductor. He coordinates all liturgical music, concerts and personnel. Dr. Swanson also directs music for weddings and funerals, and the annual concert performance of Handel's Messiah.

Kim Carter, Director of Parish Operations

Kim is the finance and facility manager. She supervises the business and maintenance staff, and works with the Finance Committee and Building Committee. A main focus of her work is stewardship and development.


Gael Day, Parish Receptionist and Wedding Coordinator
Gael is responsible for general information. She maintains sacramental records, assigns meeting space, and schedules marriage and wedding preparation. She also handles mail for homeless people in the neighborhood.


Joanna Krynski, Communications Specialist

Joanna is responsible for the parish's visual and written communication, promoting news and information about the parish, its ministries and programs through print and electronic media. She designs and edits the weekly bulletin and all printed materials (such as brochures, signs, pledge cards) composing copy as needed; updates and maintains the parish website; oversees the Listserv.
