A Centennial Hall for the Parish Centennial
Fireside Hall, a 1925 renovation of the original 1905 basement, was completely remade and renamed Centennial Hall in 2005. The project included a complete renovation of the entrance, walls, floors, windows, fireplace and cafeteria. It is a very popular place for larger meetings and social events.
Past Lives of the Fahey Center
In spring 1917, the parish bought the limestone Miller home at 638 W. Deming Place, next to the rectory. It was used as the convent, housing 16 Sisters of Saint Francis until 1942, when the parish bought the larger building at 622 W. Deming Place.
For years, the house was the parish Clubhouse. In 1976, it was extensively renovated to better adapt it to use as a parish center. The first floor houses an open meeting space and kitchen; upstairs are smaller meeting spaces and staff offices.
In 1989, the entrance was reconfigured to provide an enclosed passage to the rectory and the church, and an elevator for wheelchair access. It was renamed the Fahey Center to honor the then pastor of Saint Clement, Rev. John Fahey.

The building we know as the Fahey Center was the home of Fred and Bertha Miller until 1917, when the parish purchased it.

The building served as the convent until 1942. Then it became the Clubhouse, and in 1989 was renamed the Fahey Center.
