Through the Clement Commits program, 9.5% of the general collection received at each Mass is given to charities and community organizations we support as a parish. This percentage has been raised in 2011 from 9%. This is part of what good stewardship means: we take care of those in need before we take care of ourselves.

Clement Commits has allowed us to consistently fund church-related charities, nationally and globally, as well as community services in our neighborhood. It has allowed us to eliminate all second collections during weekend Masses.

This program has been a wonderful success because of the generous response of our parishioners. We hope eventually to increase our commitment to 10%.

Giving Beyond Our Parish Community

Through Clement Commits, Saint Clement donated funds to Our Lady of Mercy (OLM), our sharing parish, helping them to: provide tuition scholarships, fund their food pantry and a new musical initiative for at-risk youth, build a much needed room for their Religious Education program, and more!
