Targeting the New Translation:
The Launch of the 3rd Roman Missal

Beginning the first Sunday of Advent this year, November 27, 2011, some of the words we pray and sing at Mass will be different. This session will explore how the Third Edition of the Roman Missal was developed. We will then examine specific texts of the English translation and consider how this new translation can affect real change in both the liturgical life of the parish community and in the world.

Todd Williamson, a Saint Clement parishioner, is the director of the Office for Divine Worship with the Archdiocese of Chicago. He is an author and presenter in the areas of liturgy and sacraments, and has ministered in the Archdiocese teaching religion and theology.
