Fertility, Facts and Our Faith
Thursday, February 9, 7:30pm, Chapel
What options are there for Catholic couples who long for a child, but have difficulty getting pregnant? Why does our Church oppose in-vitro fertilization? Are there other ways to treat infertility that are ethical and effective? Find out on Thursday, February 9 at 7:30pm in the Saint Clement Chapel.
Dr. Anthony Caruso, a reproductive endocrinologist and OB/GYN practicing at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, will answer those questions and talk about medically-effective and scientifically-proven fertility treatments that don’t conflict with Catholic beliefs. After performing IVF for years, Dr. Caruso changed his view about the best way to treat infertility. Come hear his insights.

Discover and Deepen Your Strengths This Lent
Program begins week of February 20
We are all
uniquely made in the image and likeness of God. God formed and made each of us with different individual talents and strengths. Each one of us is called, chosen, and beloved by God. But how do we discover our unique gifts? How are we called to use these gifts to become faithful followers of Christ?
Guided by personal experience and the results of the Gallup Member Engagement Survey (ME25), members of the Engagement Committee developed a four-session program, called
Strengths for the Journey, which provides an opportunity to explore and develop your God-given gifts. It will be offered to all parishioners for the first time this Lent. The program begins the week of February 20 with several options for meeting days, times, and starting week. Click for the
brochure (for further details), or to
register online. Questions? Please contact the
Parish Office at 773-281-0371.
