Adult Faith Formation
"The goal of Catholic evangelization is to invite a person to believe in Jesus Christ; to enfold the believer in the sacramental, communal life of the Church; and then to enable, inspire, and support a lifetime of full discipleship" (
Spreading the Holy Fire, Archdiocese of Chicago, 11).
Spirituality Courses
During the course of the year, the parish offers a range of offerings on bridging the gap between spirituality and our daily life. In the past we have offered talks on Ignatian spirituality, the documents of Vatican II, faith and the short stories of Flannery O'Connor, and faith in the marketplace, to name a few.
Catholic Faith Exploration (CaFE)
CaFE (Catholic Faith Exploration) is a series for adult faith formation on a variety of topics related to faith. In 2008, our theme was "Prayer: A Conversation with God." The events usually begin at 6:30pm with a short introduction of the speaker and topic, followed by conversation over supper then the presentation, and concluding with a time for questions and open discussion.
