Adult Eucharist

We welcome people of all ages into our community. The process for welcoming adults into the Roman Catholic faith is known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Children Preparing for the Sacrament of the Eucharist

Children in second grade prepare to receive their First Communion on the first Saturday in May. Children in both Saint Clement School and the Religious Education program use a text, The Gift of Eucharist. The text has both classroom and family components. Parents are encouraged to work at home with their child, completing lessons together using their family text. Parents and children also attend a parent/child retreat in order to prepare themselves to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Our community of faith prays for these families throughout their time of preparation, beginning with a Family Mass when the entire assembly along with the celebrant blesses all of our second graders.
