We have cancelled this week’s Living Faith Adult Formation event on Tuesday, February 9 due to the winter storm expected that afternoon and evening. The next Living Faith session will be held
Tuesday, March 9, at 6:45pm in Fireside Hall (located in Saint Clement School). Our presenter for March will be Deacon Manny, who will present on themes of sin, grace, and repentance. Fr. Ken will present on the Mass in a future Living Faith Session.

Saint Clement in Solidarity with the People of Haiti
The earthquake strikes, the need is obvious, and Saint Clement Church responds. This is the spirit of this parish, so wonderfully demonstrated over the last three weeks. I speak a word of profound thanks on behalf of the four agencies designated for assistance in solidarity with the people of Haiti. In addition to our immediate donation of $5,000 from Clement Commits, the collection for Haiti at Saint Clement Church has received more than $42,000 to assist the victims of this disaster. No doubt many parishioners also contributed directly to these and other agencies. Funds received at Saint Clement as of 02/01/10 are distributed as follows:
- Catholic Relief Services - $19,517.50
- Friends of the Orphans - $ 8,182.50
- The Catholic Church in Haiti - $ 7,412.05
- Concern World Wide - $ 7,037.50
This $42,149.55 plus the $ 5,000 Saint Clement Church donated through Clement Commits brings our total to $47,149.55!
May God bless you for your generosity.
-Fr. Ken Simpson
Welcome Home to the Catholic Church
Take Another Look

Several major television stations have been airing a series of commercials inviting Catholics who have drifted away from regular participation in the Church to take another look through the
Catholics Come Home program. It is estimated that the average TV viewer will see 13 to 20 of these commercials during the 5 ½ week campaign! All of us in the Catholic community will be called upon to play a role in this initiative, whether it is speaking to our experiences of the Catholic Church, getting involved in our welcoming efforts here at Saint Clement, or perhaps talking with someone who may be considering returning to the Catholic Church. We invite you to take time to view the commercials online and to consider lending a hand in our efforts here at Saint Clement.

Bring Palms This Weekend
February 13-14
In anticipation of Ash Wednesday, please bring last year’s palms to Mass next weekend, February 13-14. We will burn them to make ashes to be imposed on Ash Wednesday. Baskets for the palms will be available at the church entryway.
